If you read the match thread, im sure at HT and 1-1 there was quite a bit of optimism about, and we were in with a shout???
Not trying to make excuse for the second half, and they unlike us did put out what looks like there strongest side.

Unfortunate for the 4.000 who went that the team played like piss and looked like they did not care. Sometimes though a team is simply not good enough and looks like they do not care but in truth they are just outplayed by the opposition.

Was the false hope of the Chelsea game, Hairy. Even Bilic said they showed more passion than us. I can accept the better ability they have, better team goes without saying. But they wanted it a hell of a lot more than us.

Yes it's Man U, but we gave them a game in both the league and cup last year up there, and should have won both games. Last night was just woeful.

what makes me laugh these days is when you bring in a new player, apparently, if they are shit, they say he needs time to adapt or adjust. WTF? Don't they train or play 5 aside during the week, no reserve games? Why do you need time to adapt? surely you can play football and know where the goal is??
